instinct.

you can seek the advise of others. surround yourself with trusted advisers. but in the end the decision is always yours and yours alone. and when its time to act and you're all alone with your back against the wall. the only voice that matters is the one in your head. the one telling you what you already knew. the one's that almost always right.

pain.

we are always looking for ways to ease the pain. sometimes we do it by making the best of what we have. sometimes its by losing ourselves in the moment. and sometimes all we need to do to ease the pain is calling a simple truce.

fine line.

i guess there is a very fine line between love and hate.
these two words are strong individuals that defines two very different feelings.
but hey! have you ever heard of a love-hate relationship maybe? it could be with a friend? foe maybe? your boss? or parents? or even with your lover.

maybe this relationship may be overwhelming for most, but speaking for the rest, maybe this is just the way to go. or just a way to keep breathing.

if we all dwell in the pros and cons of this kind of relationship, brace yourselves because you're on a trip to beat around the bush. if you can tell me that this isnt the case, then you are probably not really in a love-hate relationship is it now?

the thing about it is for a love-hate relationship to last, or even just to exist, there should be a strong balance between the two words.

most would never hope or even wish for this kind of relationship. but i guess if you kill a cow, you would have to make a burger.

people say it all the time but what does that even mean?
is it about strength? is it about sacrifices? or is it about winning?
maybe it is simpler than that.

you have to know when not to man up.
sometimes it takes a real man to set his ego aside, admit defeat and simply start all over.

because i know things were easier.

we all can pretend like it doesnt matter but deep down we all do compare.
